Realme P3 Pro 5G (Galaxy , 128 GB) (8 GB RAM) Reveiw
Alright friends, we’ve brought the realme P series performance focused phones. They’ve launched 2 phones, P3 Pro & P3X. This yellow box was inside this, but it was so tight & I couldn’t take it out with my broken hand. That’s why I took it out & kept it here. But let me open this & I’ll show you what’s inside.
Oh my God, this is difficult! Sajid, we need your help! It’s more difficult than my 2 hands. Look, it’s like this. Oh, what’s this Sajid? Alright, a mysterious nebula glow awaits! Decoding, your assistance is needed to complete the classified interstellar mission. This was inside this & you had the box inside.
And this was inside this. So you’ll know why this is there. We’ll also tell you about the P3X, which is its younger brother. Let’s open & do the unboxing. But before that, if you’re new here, then do hit SUBSCRIBE! We’re going to be unboxing & reviewing a lot of interesting phones in the coming days.
So do SUBSCRIBE! First, there’s the sim card tool. Then you have documentation. Then you get a nice milky & clear case. And I like this, it looks nice. So when it glows at night, it’ll be visible. So that’s nice, I thought it’d be a clear case & decent quality. This is the phone. Not bad.
Nice, ok. There’s an 80W adapter. So that’s nice. And there’s a USB Type A to Type C charging cable. That’s about it, let’s keep it. Now let’s look at the phone. Let it be here, I’m going to show you. It has a quad curved display. So if you compare it with the P2 Pro, it had a curved display on both sides.
But this has a quad curved display. And let me tell you, if the budget is tight for gamers. Let’s start with the pricing. It’ll be priced at Rs 21-22K with offers. There are 3 variants & all 3 will be under Rs 25K. Even the top 12-56K variants. So this is that glow in the dark. And how does it glow? As soon as it gets dark, I’ll show it to you.
Do you see this? Did I turn off the light? Yes, now it’s visible. Look at that! It has luminous strands inside. And all the designs are unique. So understand that the patterns aren’t the same. They’re different, so that’s good. More interestingly, it has a 6000mAh battery & it still feels very light.
Let’s see. It has a scratch guard, we’ll remove it. Oho! Oho! Nice! If I talk about the weight, I may go wrong. Because I don’t understand the left & right hand sides. The left hand side feels light. It weighs 196g. It has a 6,000mAh battery with a weight of 191.5g. Which is good. Despite having a big battery, it’s not heavy in the hand.
If I talk about the phone’s durability, the Gorilla Glass 7i comes at the front. It’s not at the back, but it’s at the front. Let’s drop it & see if it’s a 7i or a 20i. 1, 2 &… Boom! Ok. No, nothing. 1, 2 &… In fact, it’s not just the Gorilla Glass 7i, this time there’s an IP66, IP68 & IP69 certification.
So the trend we’re seeing in 2025 is to focus on durability. Which I think is really nice. If I talk about the ports & buttons, there’s a sim tray at the bottom, a microphone, a USB Type C port, a speaker grill, a power on & off button at the right hand side, a volume rocker at the top, a noise cancelling microphone at the top & a speaker grill.
That’s about it, these are the ports & buttons. Let’s see it from the inside. As I said earlier, when the display is quad curved, it looks premium. It has the premiumness of a curved display. And gamers don’t have issues with curved displays. Because it’s micro curved, so that’s nice.
The display is 6.83” with a 1.5K resolution. It has a 120Hz AMOLED display. So that’s nice. It has a 1200NITS HBM which is important as it has 1500NITS peak brightness. Overall, if I talk about the aspect ratio & bezels, the bezels are very thin. These bezels are 1.6mm thin. Because of this, there’s a 94% screen to body ratio.
So it’s an absolutely immersive display. Let’s talk about specifications. In comparison to the P2 Pro, I think it has gone 1 step forward. It used to be on the 7S Gen 2 & now it’s on the 7S Gen 3. It’s AnTuTu score is around 8.2-8.3 Lakhs. There are 3 variants, 8, 128GB, 8, 256GB & 12, 256GB.
As I said earlier, you’ll get all 12, 256GB variants under Rs 25K. And the base variant of 8, 128GB will be available under Rs 21-22K. It has a 6000mAh battery with 80W charging. So again, the P2 Pro had a 5200mAh battery. Now the battery has increased, even though its weight hasn’t increased. So that’s good.
It has an LPDDR4X RAM type & UFS 3.1 storage type. If I talk about the battery life, you can easily use it for 1.5 days. Even if you use it for moderate to heavy usage, you shouldn’t have any problems. And it’ll charge from 0-100% in 1-1.5 hours. Realme has claimed that you can play BGMI for 1.5 hours after charging for 5 minutes. To a certain extent, I’d say it’s a gaming centric phone as the performance is seriously good.
They’ve also said that you can play BGMI at 90FPS. We played PUBG New State at 90FPS which worked well. We even played Genshin Impact for nearly half an hour. It continuously played at 50-52FPS which is really good according to me.
Now let’s talk about the UI. Obviously there’s Realme UI which is based on Android 15. There are no problems but there are 3rd party apps which you can uninstall or disable. But yes, it comes out of the box with a lot of 3rd party apps. It’s based on Android 15 but there are 3 year updates as promised.
There are 2-3 things here that when we talked to Realme, they told us that there’s GT mode. Just like the Realme GT series, there are tweaks for gamers. So you can disable notifications when you’re playing. All those things you can do. Talking about gaming, there’s bypass charging as well as smart charging.
So when you’re playing, you can do that. For gamers, there’s AI motion control, AI ultra touch, AI ultra steady frames. So basically these are going to help you while gaming. There are a lot of features. One thing I’d say is that it looks fluid. Realme UI 6 is basically its core color OS. It feels quite fluid, no problems there.
Talking about connectivity, there’s 9 5G bands support, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3. There’s no NFC support & there’s no IR blaster. Talking about sensors, there are all sensors. There’s an in-display fingerprint sensor, face unlock. One thing I’d say is that the 1.
5K resolution display is really nice. The colors that you see, they come out really nice. Talking about colors, there are stereo speakers for multimedia. And there’s a beautiful screen, an immersive screen. You’ll definitely enjoy multimedia, no questions. Alright, let’s talk about cameras. There’s no camera highlight on this phone.
The primary sensor is of 50MP & 2MP. So there’s no ultrawide. If you look at the price range, then ultrawide should be there. But it’s not there. But the primary sensor is of Sony IMX896. And it takes good photos. The colors & skin tones are there. Even according to dynamic range, there are primary sensors.
There are no problems. You can shoot 4K 30FPS videos. You can shoot Full HD 30FPS videos. Interestingly, there’s a 16MP selfie sensor. Last year it was 32MP, now it’s 16MP. So there’s not much focus on the camera, that’s for sure. If I talk about camera features, then there’s street mode, night mode, video, portrait mode, pro mode, panorama, high resolution, film mode, slow motion, time lapse, long exposure, underwater mode, which solves the underwater touch issue, dock scanner, starry mode, tilt shift.
So there are a lot of features. There are a lot of photos & videos taken in different conditions. I’m giving you the J-Drive link, go & check it out. But the performance of the primary sensor is good. It takes good photos even in low light. That was a surprising thing, but it does. And there’s AI snap mode for fast shutter & action shots.
Alright, let’s quickly talk about other features. Like I said earlier, there’s more focus on durability. There’s IP66, IP68, IP69 certification. There’s only USB 2.0. SAR values are within limits. There’s support for Y1L1, so you can do Full HD streaming. Let me quickly talk about the P3X, which was launched with the J-Drive.
I don’t know the price, but it’s going to be around Rs 15-16K. It comes with Dimensity 6400. It also has IP68, IP69 certification. There’s a 120Hz display & a 6000mAh battery with 45W charging. You don’t get the glow version in that. There’s a design with Galaxy Purple & Brown in Wagon Leather.
Whereas the P3X has Blue, Silver & Pink in Wagon Leather. Realme P3 Pro is definitely performance centric & gaming centric. So if you’re looking for a phone for gaming, then it’s display is definitely good. According to me, the micro quad curved display is really nice. The battery is big & it’s not very heavy as well.
