POCO X7 Pro 5G (Yellow, 256 GB)  (12 GB RAM) Reviews

One of the most potent phones under Rs 30,000 is the Poco X7 Pro. Is it a good phone for less than Rs 30,000, though? Does it have enough power to be a good phone? I want to start by discussing the X7 Pro’s overall package and on-paper specifications.
Its display is 1.5K at 120Hz. The processor is a Dimensity 8400 Ultra. Its battery is 6500mAh. They are making a call to IP69. Additionally, the entire package is being offered for less than Rs 28,000. However, I have one thing to tell you. The unique feature of Poco’s phone is its emphasis on the internet.

Deep black and vibrant color are two benefits of using an AMOLED screen. It has a 1.5K resolution. The refresh rate is 120 Hz as well. This panel isn’t an LTPO. It is the same as your normal panel.
480 Hz is the touch sampling rate. Additionally, 2560Hz is the instantaneous touch sampling rate that is useful for gaming. The dimming is PWM. Dolby Vision with HDR10 plus. Indeed, Netflix is compatible with Dolby Vision. Thus, this is a positive thing. I found watching HDR content to be enjoyable overall. It is excellent for gamers even if you only look at the screen.

A person will undoubtedly enjoy gaming if he wants to. And on top of that, the quality of the stereo speakers is very good. Next, let’s discuss performance. Because let’s talk about performance if you look at it. Storage is clearly UFS 4.0. 8GB, 12GB, 256GB, and 256GB of storage are available.
There is LPDDR5X RAM. The 4nm-based Dimensity 8400 Ultra Processor is one example. The performance is excellent overall. However, with prolonged use and gaming, the device may become a bit hot. That’s all. A slight avoidance of this issue would have been preferable. However, daily tasks won’t present any issues overall.

I want to discuss the following topic. That would be the software. The HyperOS version from Xiaomi is 2.0. This phone is the first to arrive in India with HyperOS 2.0 pre-installed. Android 15 will be released soon. Additionally, I appreciated that HyperOS 2.0 had a battery drain issue. which was version 1’s initial iteration. Here, however, the issue of battery drain has been resolved. The HyperOS 2.0 customization options are good. The lock screen configuration has been improved. This allows for customization and personalization. Dynamic effects are present. A 3D real-time weather system is available.

Xiaomi’s interlink connectivity is also included. You also receive a link to Windows. In other words, you can do connectivity with a Xiaomi tablet in a very good way. AI Notes, AI Recorder, AI Interpreter, and AI Subtitles are included with this. Additionally, you get Sky Replacement, Expansion, and Reflection Remover in image editing.

Despite the fact that HyperOS 2.0 is good, I encountered issues in two or three places. Initially, there were some crashes on the home screen. There was also a tiny bug. There is room for improvement in terms of crashes and stability. The excessive amount of bloatware comes next. HyperOS 2.0 can be more enjoyable if the bloatware is somewhat reduced.

In addition, the phone’s 6,550mAh battery is a new feature. The battery has about 4,500mAh. However, based on its appearance, the phone appears to have a 5,000mAh battery. In essence, they are employing silicon carbon technology to enable the largest battery to be inserted and maximize battery backup.
Additionally, it supports 90W charging using the included charger. Indeed, this phone will also have less battery degradation. In addition to quick charging, this phone has a strong battery backup. The battery drain was the initial issue. Here, that issue was promptly resolved. 5G capabilities are included.

I previously stated that the thickness was 8.2 mm. It has a good thickness. It weighs less than two hundred grams. about 195 grams. The phone appears to be lightweight as well. Additionally, it is referred to as IP66, IP68, and IP69 when viewed from above. However, it does have some splash resistance, to be honest. Dust won’t get to it.
Additionally, some apps crash here. Also, a bit more bloatware is present here. Aside from this, it will be advantageous that Android 15 comes pre-installed. It has performed admirably. I truly enjoyed the promise of three years of OS updates. I appreciated that Hyper OS version 2.0 was included. The backup battery is excellent.

Fast charging is what you want if you want a large battery phone. They are providing excellent service. For 28,000 rupees, you get 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM. Here, I also suggest the same model. Since 12GB of RAM adds up to 30,000, I would not advise it. You can look at the 28,000 rupee phone if you want to purchase this one.

Additionally, check for any card offers, etc. You could say that it’s a good phone for 25,000–26,000. Taking pictures is something you should do infrequently or infrequently if you want to play your priority game. as well as whether you have previously used Xiaomi or Poco phones. Therefore, if you’re considering switching, it might be a good option for under 30,000 rupees.
